NS Walks · Trail Tally ("we", "us") is an independent fan project that helps you track your progress through the official NS Wandelingen. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password (or a Google OAuth identifier if you sign in with Google).
- Walk progress: which walks you've marked complete, the date, an optional 1–5 rating, optional notes, and optional photo URLs you choose to add.
- Functional storage: a session cookie and a language preference stored in your browser. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
Why we collect it
To let you sign in and sync your walking progress across devices. That's it — we don't sell or share your data with anyone, and we don't send marketing emails.
Where it's stored
Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (which uses Supabase as the underlying managed database and auth service), hosted in the European Union. Only you can read your own progress thanks to row-level security on the database.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and progress for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all your walk progress is permanently removed at the same time.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you,
- delete your account at any time via the Account page,
- request a copy of your data or ask questions by emailing kinturitravel@gmail.com.
