Description
Narrow streams, heathlands, forests, and fens are the main components of the abundant natural beauty along this route. The large heathland of de Kampina is a valuable nature reserve, where rare plants and animals occur. The Vereniging Natuurmonumenten has cooperated in setting out a beautiful route through this area. Sheep and cattle graze on the heath; keep dogs on a leash here. The journey continues through the varied Oisterwijkse forests and fens. Here you will pass Bezoekerscentrum Oisterwijk of Vereniging Natuurmonumenten.
Route
Please note: be aware of flooding in parts of this route.
You will walk 80% on unpaved sandy roads and narrow forest paths. The paths on the Kampinaheide can be very boggy.
